The good thing is he’s also from Renton, so he is local for me and I didn’t have to go through Yelp and all those big name shops.
I got overwhelmed, I had 6 companies called within 3 hours of posting on yelp. I saw someone recommended Supple Plumbing within Nextdoor and gave him and another company a call, the other company walked me through how to fix the drain, but as a homeowner and a man, I gave up my man card and hired someone else to do it professionally. Best decision I made. The shower was leaking underneath and he explained the cause and how poorly the builders just slapped in the shower and the drain and most of them fail in 5-10 years. He made it right and fixed the drain for another 10 or more years. The gasket life span was worn out beyond homeowner’s control, so it can fail again. Very honest guy with great pricing, $thousand less than the other guy’s quote.
I’ll definitely call on him again. My water heater needs to be checked so he will be called this fall.
My tankless water heater wasn’t heating water like it used to. I flushed the system and cleaned the sensors and it was still not working great. Got a quote from another plumber. $4500 to replace the tankless or $1000 to remove the mixing valve. He warned that removing the mixing valve may not solve the problem. Then I looked at the I Love Renton FB page and saw Tracy mentioned a few times. Gave it a shot. Tracy came out in 30 minutes, took one look at the heater and said with confidence it was the mixing valve. $400 and 30 minutes later, my tankless was fixed and fully operational with super hot water. Tracy is like an Uncle that takes care of his clients like family. Would highly recommend.
Tracy ordered my valve, it was a larger than normal valve, got it on a Friday and said he would be out on Monday, to change it. He got the part and replaced it in less than a week and did not charge me an arm & a leg like some of these other companies. I will send him to all my friends that need plumbing work done, THANKS Tracy for everything !!!!
Tracy is a God-send! I had a flooding problem due to plumbing issue in my toilet. Unlike other plumbers I called, he asked me a few questions and told me that I can fix the toilet problem myself by just changing the flapper in the toilet tank! It was only $15! I would have spent at least $200-$500 if someone came out! I shared the story right away to co-workers who immediately asked for Tracy’s contact info! I am so relieved to have found Tracy!
I had been putting off several plumbing projects… when my kitchen faucet stopped producing hot water, I set out on a search for a plumber. Several friends recommended Tracy, and I’m happy I reached out to him. He replaced my home’s main shut-off, a shut-off valve under my kitchen sink, and my kitchen faucet. The Supple Plumber is first on my list for any future plumbing needs.
Not only is Tracy likeable but he is an excellent professional. You can trust his judgement and work.
Look no further for your plumbing needs! Tracy is the best at what he does. Smart, talented in his work, thoughtful and considerate of your project, and above all – honest! We hired him for a complex bathroom project that included a steam generator and moving a drain. I knew from the first time we met that he was the person for the job. He asked all the right questions and you could tell he was anticipating and planning what needed to be done in order for the project to be completed to our satisfaction and expectations. Trust me, when it comes to hiring a specialist for plumbing work, you want to make sure you hire someone that will have not only your budget in mind, but your interests and long-term success. Look no further than Tracy.
We hired Tracy to replace our pipes. He worked with our schedule and got us in very quickly. His quote was about $10k below the other estimates we got. He was clearly looking for ways he could do the job well, but keep costs down as much as possible. We were very happy with the results.
He did make one small mistake, but was very proactive in telling us about it and going above and beyond to make it right. To me, this says more about who I want to hire than anything else. Mistakes happen. When you are trusting someone to do work in your home, you want to know they won’t leave problems to be discovered later. I would absolutely hire Tracy again.

I have called on Tracy twice for different services in the past (water heater replacement and more recently a leaky kitchen sink) and both times he has been super helpful, professional, communicative, and all around great to work with. I am very happy to have found a reliable and honest plumber! Highly recommend
